Recorder Karate Testing Information
We will be practicing during class time and students will be allowed to test on certain music days. There is never enough time for everyone, so this year I am going to try allowing students to videotape themselves playing the recorder and email those videos to me.
Video Submission Rules
1. Say your name, your homeroom teacher and the tile of the song you will be playing.
2. Play the song and then stop the recording.
3. Attach the video to an email.
4. Write your name and song title of the song you played in the subject line.
5. Send email to: [email protected] and wait to hear back from me!
I will message you back after I listen and if you earn your belt you will get it during the next class period.

Recorder Karate Songs
These are sound files for all of the recorder karate songs. The beginning songs have three formats- full performance is the background music AND someone playing recorder. The slow accompaniment is JUST the background music without anyone playing recorder and it is much slower for practicing. The fast accompaniment is the same speed as the full performance file without anyone playing the recorder part.
